Product Description

Pink Aluminium Oxide - FINE 240 Grit

Not as aggressive as other sharpening stones.
Leaves uniform finish to edge of tool.
For applications including honing, reshaping, die cleaning and gear deburring. Also recommended for sharpening of knives, plane blades, carving gouges/chisels and any cutting tool with a concave edge.
By using a slip stone that matches the profile of the tool being sharpened, it is less likely that the edge will lose its original shape over time.
Lubricate or pre-soaking is advisable.
For sharpening dull tools to give a keen lasting edge.
